This experience is the result of a collaboration between the olive oil sommeliers of Olive Groves and La Tavola di Gaël. Camille, Gaël and Virginie will be your guides throughout the trip!

 

Programme

 

Sunday 30 October - Slow Food Tasting and Dinner

From 4pm: tasting of Italian vintage olive oils and presentation on olive oil cultivation in the Mediterranean region by Virginie and Camille, our olive oil sommeliers

Aperitif and Slow Food dinner with natural wines from the region.

Location: Tenuta Tedone Consolini (Ruvo di Puglia)

Monday 31st October – Olive harvest and new oil

From 9:30 am: olive harvest in the century-old groves of the organic farming estate Le 4 Contrade

Farmers' lunch in the olive grove

Visit of an old mill from the 1920s and transfer of the harvested olives to the modern mill near the estate

Visit to the chef’s vegetable garden and dinner at an osteria renowned throughout Italy, with new oil and local wines

Location: Le 4 Contrade (Andria) and Antichi Sapori

Tuersday 1st November – Visit of a caseificio (optional)

Visit of a caseificio producing typical local “pasta filata” cheeses (burrata, burratina, stracciatella, nodini) in the morning.

Price

450 Euros per adult (490 Euros with a single room). Reservation and prepayment of 285 Euros on Airbnb, the balance will be paid at the hotel.
